Watch Rome Fortune & Villa Cook Up a New Song at Audiomack Studios SXSW

Rome Fortune and fellow Atlanta artist Villa crafted and recorded a brand new song live at our SXSW studio.

Earlier this month, while our brand new studio was being constructed at our NY offices, we decided to take our booth on the road, renting out 512 Studios in Austin, Texas for several days during SXSW.

There we hosted an open studio session with our partners at Audiomack and Tunecore, extending an invitation to a handful of our favorite artists, from top tier names to some of the most buzzworthy up-and-comers, to slide through and record, all while documenting the entire experience.

If you're a regular Booth reader, you've probably come across several fresh new sounds from the likes of Tunji Ige (twice), Audio Push, Towkio & Joey Purp, and Dreezy over the last couple weeks. Today we have a brand new release from Fools Gold signee Rome Fortune and fellow Atlanta artist Villa. Rather than jumping behind the mic for a quick freestyle, the two worked with producer Lava Dome to craft a brand new record from scratch, the woozy, spaced-out "Hypnotism."
