Today is 4/20, a magical day when people who like to smoke a lot of weed and eat their weight in Doritos get to smoke a lot of weed and eat their weight in Doritos. If you're someone who is excited to actually celebrate 4/20 the odds are today is no different from your typical day, but as we recently saw with Adidas' 4/20-themed hemp shoe, some major companies are getting in on the action.

As spotted by FADER, now Reebok is countering with a 4/20 rollout of their own. The kicker here (pun intended) is that they've teamed up with veteran New York rapper Cam’ron to create the Purple Haze Reebok Ventilator Supreme, which Cam unveiled via Instagram.

In addition to the purple shoes, equipped with insoles featuring the now iconic picture of Killa Cam, 500 lucky customers will also get some Cam rolling papers, some Now & Laters candy for the munchies and, best of all, a USB containing a brand new song from Cam’ron, which judging from past experience will be centered around a great sample.

9 Types of Record Deals In 2021: Explained

A break down of the different types of record deals an artist or producer could sign in 2021. Which one is best for you? It depends.

This is big news not just because it's another example of the mass monetization of marijuana and the role hip-hop plays in that increasingly lucrative business, but because new Cam’ron music is always a good thing. After promising fans Purple Haze 2 last year, Killa has been relatively quiet with only a few releases since. Perhaps the Purple Haze sneakers, equipped with a new song, are a sign that Purple Haze 2 isn't so far off after all?

What better way to kick off Cam's new album rollout, and celebrate 4/20, than with a pair of fresh kicks?

Update: According to Reebok, the shoes have -- no surprise here -- already sold out
