Holy Sh*t You Need to Hear Logic's "Flexicution"

Logic busted out his double-time flow to crush this beat. Sometimes it's not more complicated than that - you need to hear this.

Music can be a serious business meant to be taken seriously, and rightfully so. We're talking about an industry that moves millions of dollars and a product capable of changing people's lives.

So there are some very serious discussions to be had about Logic's music, about its powerful impact on his fans, about the lines between influence and copying, about how smartly he's financially maneuvered through the game. We can talk about all of that, we have and we will, but not right now. Right now, it's time to simply flexicute. Holy shit, you need to hear Logic's new single.

Stepping Into Cico P’s Texas

East Texas native Cico P makes a case for not sleeping on his city. He breaks down his sound for Audiomack World.

After months of teasing the track and rocking a flexicution t-shirt at every opportunity, Logic's finally unveiled his long awaited banger and that's all it is. A nice 6ix beat with Logic on his bragging and boasting shit - and of course he had to break out the double-time flow in the second verse. There just aren't many that can rhyme that crisply.

Actually, I take that back. It's not only a banger, not with his wife, Jess Andrea, coming in on an atmospheric vocal section towards the end. Ah, to be young and in love and also crazy talented. The only thing my wife and I have ever made together is a couple children, which actually isn't nearly as impressive. This song took real planning and purpose, you can make a baby (or two) essentially by accident. Anyway...

While we still don't have any real word on Logic's next album - he's said he's working on two simultaneously - this should be plenty to satisfy fans appetites, at least for a few more weeks. Might I recommend that you just relax and enjoy this one? It's ain't gotta be so serious all the time.
