Less than two weeks after the soundtrack was announced for Madden NFL 2017, EA Sports rival 2K Games has revealed the soundtrack for their forthcoming NBA 2K17.
Co-curated by Noah ’40’ Shebib, OVO‘s star producer and the man responsible for Drake’s success sound, Imagine Dragons and Grimes, the front half of the soundtrack is heavy on hip-hop, Toronto and OVO.

In addition to two appearances by Drake (“Pop Style” and “Hype”), the soundtrack will also feature PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Drizzy-assisted single “Come and See Me” and Majid Jordan’s “Every Step Every Way.” What about artists not signed to OVO but who are affiliated with Drake, you ask? Both Future’s “Ain’t No Time” and Skepta’s “Shutdown” made the cut.
Rounding out the rap appearances are Action Bronson, Jay Z, G-Eazy, OutKast, and ILoveMakonnen, whose Drake-assisted “Tuesday” made the cut, proving even former label signees are shown love.
NBA 2K17 is slated for release on September 20, but in the meantime enjoy the full soundtrack through a playlist at Spotify.
