Singer, songwriter, and musician Mike Golden has released a brand new, body-moving single, entitled "Rain Dance."

Produced by Scot Stewart and featuring Social Experiment member Nico Segal (aka Donnie Trumpet), the record will find a home on Golden's forthcoming debut, Just Be a Better Person, which will boast guest spots from fellow former Top Prospects Kweku Collins and Kelechi and is slated for release on August 25.

Unlike the laid back, jazzy "No More," Golden's previous collaboration with Trumpet, "Rain Dance" is a crossover gem, combining the Indiana native's smoky, imperfect vocals with well placed trumpet blasts and a progressive, head-noddable bassline.

Golden recently dropped the "& Friends" from his stage name, but make no mistake about it -- this catchy pop offering wouldn't be possible without the contributions of Stewart, Segal and even illustrator Alan Zhang, who hit a homerun with the single's original artwork.

Armed with an original vocal and a host of talented collaborators, Golden is primed to make it rain for years to come.
