Richmond, Virginia-based rapper $ilk Money, a member of the Divine Council crew with Lord Linco, Cyrax! and Chicago producer ICYTWAT, has announced that André 3000 will appear on a remixed version of his recent single "DECEMBA" and that the record will premiere tomorrow (September 29) on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio program.

News of a $ilk Money and 3 Stacks collaboration first surfaced in June, when Rolling Stone spoke with the emcee for their 10 New Artists You Need to Know feature.

"I remember when we first met Andre," he says of the legendary Outkast frontman. "That shit blew the fuck out my mind. I didn't know who the fuck this nigga was. I was like, 'This nigga look just like Andre 3000.' And it deadass was Andre 3000. He was like, 'What's up, I'm big fans of y'all.' I was like, 'We big fans of you!' He sat next to us eating tomato soup and shit. That nigga flew from Texas to New York just to see us perform. He was saying how we remind him of Outkast because he ain't never heard anything like us. And I was blown away. - Rolling Stone Interview

Meeting and working with a rap icon like André Benjamin would be a career highlight for any artist, but 2016 has been a big year for $ilk Money and his Epic Records-signed team aside from the legendary collaboration. In addition to increased exposure, a mere seven songs on the rapper's SoundCloud have produced over 2.5 million streams in the last 12 months. Half that total belongs to semi-viral sensation "Dick In Da Dope," a record included on the crew's recently released Council World EP, along with ICYTWAT and $ilk's "P. Sherman (S42WW$)" single, which has already surpassed the million-play mark on its own.
