For as long as Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo has existed, there have been tracklist amendments and updates, as well as glimpses and snippets of unreleased songs.
Given that Kanye has referred to the album as a, "living breathing changing creative expression," its continued evolution has marked a new era in album release structure, while also helping keep the project fresh in our collective minds well beyond the first-week hype.
Yesterday (October 6), in a post to his Instagram, G.O.O.D. Music artist CyHi The Prince shared a "lost" verse that was originally a part of Pablo standout “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.”
In two separate videos, CyHi is seen cruising around while rapping along to his appearance on the Kid Cudi-assisted track.
CyHi’s fire flames verse fits within the track so well it’s a shame it didn’t make the final cut, but then again, have we even heard the final cut?
With the neverending, unorthodox tracklist updates of The Life of Pablo, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that the CyHi-assisted version of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” eventually sees the (official) light of day.
Until then, everyone should hit up G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T and demand that the label gives CyHi a release date for his long-overdue debut album.
