Finally, Meek Mill Announces Release Date for "DC4"

Finally, after months of hype, speculation and snippets, the Philly native will deliver his new project.

After months of anticipation, speculation, rumors, snippets, beef, more snippets, more beef and one monster freestyle on Funk Flex, much-maligned rapper Meek Mill has announced that this Friday, October 28, he will release his brand new project, DC4.

To put it simply: DC4 is a critical, make-or-break release for Meek Mill. If the MMG rapper can deliver an outstanding body of work, complete with the same head-spinning aggression and charisma that made him a star in the first place, hip-hop fans will become prisoners of the moment, declare that "Meek is back!" and, finally, put to rest the 17 months of headlines that had everything to do with Drake, The Game and Beanie Sigel, and nothing to do with actual music.

DC4,Meek's third project of 2016 following January EPs 4/4 and 4/4 Pt. 2, is the fourth installment in the Philly native's acclaimed Dreamchasers mixtape series.

For Meek's sake, let's hope it's also the greatest.
