A Tribe Called Quest's Entire Discography is Currently Charting

"We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service" is expected to debut at No. 1 later this week.

Billboard's Top 200 chart hasn't been revealed yet this week, but A Tribe Called Quest is already taking over the charts.

On the strength of their newly-released album, We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service, the group's first full-length LP in 18 years, Tribe's entire discography is currently charting on iTunes Top 100 Rap & Hip Hop Albums.

We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service is currently in the top two positions, the dirty version is No. 1 and the clean version is No. 2, while The Anthology is No. 5, The Low End Theory is No. 13, Midnight Marauders is No. 17, Peoples' Instinctive Travels & the Paths of Rhythm is No. 44, Beats, Rhymes & Life is No. 59, The Love Movement is No. 77, the 25th Anniversary edition of People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm is No. 88 and Hits, Rarities & Remixes is No. 96.

According to HDD, the new album is expected to move between 73 to 83k SPS units (sales plus streaming) with 60 to 70k of those sales being digital and physical purchases—good enough for a No. 1 debut.

Overall, these numbers suggest that Tribe has not only pleased their existing, supremely patient fanbase, but they've also picked up a bunch of new fans in the process. As is usually the case with network television exposure, the group was aided by a bump in digital sales following their two killer performances on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.
