Surprise! J. Cole to Release '4 Your Eyez Only' Album on December 9
On December 9, 2014, J. Cole surprised the hip-hop world by releasing 2014 Forest Hills Drive, an album that has since been famously certified double-Platinum without a single guest feature.
24 months later, on the very same date, Cole is slated to release 4 Your Eyez Only, the long-awaited, long-overdue follow-up to Forest Hills Drive. The 10-track offering, which is currently available for pre-order on iTunes without song titles, will be released through Dreamville and Roc Nation.
Seven months ago, there were signs Cole might be recording new material, but nobody outside of Dreamville could confirm an imminent release. Now we're eight days away from a new full-length album, which comes right in time for the holidays.
