Frank Ocean Premieres "Chanel" Single on blonded RADIO

Isn't part of being a Frank Ocean fan having to wait years for new music?

Update 2: Frank actually delivered. In addition to premiering Episode 002 of his #blondedRADIO program on Apple Music station Beats 1, Ocean has released "Chanel," which is available for stream on Apple Music and digital purchase on iTunes. A second version of "Chanel" was premiered on #blondedRADIO that features A$AP Rocky.

Frank Ocean made his fans wait four years for the highly-anticipated follow-up to his GRAMMY-winning debut channel ORANGE, but just seven months after Blonde, Frank's already back to releasing new material.

On top of his contribution alongside two-thirds of Migos on Calvin Harris' new single "Slide," according to HDD, Ocean will release a brand new single this evening (March 10), as an Apple Music exclusive.

The song's title and production credits are not yet known, but according to John Mayer, the material could be described as... wait for it..."space reggae."

This news was first reported by veteran journalist Elliott Wilson, who recently joined Jay Z's TIDAL streaming service as the Editorial Director of Culture & Content, Hip-Hop.

In semi-related news, Ocean appears to have uploaded a personalized playlist mirroring his Beats 1 show Blonded Radio to both Spotify and TIDAL—Doesn't he have an exclusive deal with Apple Music?—which includes newly-released cuts by Kodak Black, Future and Migos.

Update: It should be noted that shortly after this story was published, our source for this article, HitsDailyDouble, took down their original story. Considering Frank delayed the release of Blonde because the New York Times ruined his surprise release, I wouldn't be shocked if this news break caused him to pause his Friday night plans.
