Longtime Pharrell protégé and i am OTHER signee Buddy has announced the forthcoming release of a collaborative EP with producer KAYTRANADA, entitled ‘Ocean & Montana.’

The debut single off the five-track project is slated for release this Friday, May 12.

Buddy made his DJBooth debut in 2012 when his Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Staircases” graced our homepage. After releasing his free mixtape, Idle Time, exclusively on our pages in February 2014, the Compton native disappeared for a short period of time before resurfacing last year with a handful of guest spots and the catchy single “Shine,” which was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program courtesy of programming head Carl Chery.
