No matter how much hip-hop evolves, an MC will always be judged by his or her ability to rock a microphone on stage or in the studio. Enter Bless The Booth, a video series shot at DJBooth's SoHo, New York City studios, that showcases the lyrical dexterity of today’s premier MCs.
The concept behind Bless The Booth is simple: We provide your favorite up-and-coming MCs with a selection of beats, they pick one and they enter the booth. Meanwhile, the microphone is on and the cameras begin to roll.
To help amplify each of our chosen weekly participants, we have partnered with our friends at subscription-based on-demand streaming service TIDAL, who will be exclusively releasing each freestyle on their mobile app and a special section on their platform.
