On April 1, Charles Hamilton will re-release his 2008 debut album, The Pink Lavalamp, for sale on vinyl. The announcement came on Wednesday via a post on Hamilton's Facebook page.

We have reached out to Charles for comment but as of press time, he has not responded.

To date, The Pink Lavalamp has never been made available for digital purchase on iTunes and is not available for stream on any paid-for digital service providers, such as Spotify, Apple Music or TIDAL.

Initially made available for free download, the album is currently streaming on Hamilton's SoundCloud. Hamilton self-released the project following a turbulent back and forth with his then major label home at Interscope Records, who wanted the 2009 XXL Freshman selection to include "Brooklyn Girls" on the album.

Hamilton's last full-length, the self-titled Charles Hamilton, was released in December 2016 via Republic Records.
