No I.D. to Executive Produce tobi lou's Forthcoming Debut Album
tobi lou, a Chicago-born, LA-based artist bringing the joy of cartoons to hip-hop, has announced that his forthcoming debut album will be executive produced by veteran producer No I.D.
"I don't think I even have the proper word that could legitimately describe how excited I am right now," Lou said in a statement about the signing. "Being from Chicago, ever since I heard Kanye [West] mention No I.D. on 'Last Call,' he's been someone I've hoped to work with one day. And now it's actually happening, so I guess the proper word is surreal, that's how it feels.”
Lou is fresh off the release of both a three-track EP (tobi lou and the Moon) and the Smino-assisted single, "TROOP," which features a Glassface-directed set of visuals.
