Per Chart Data, and the artist herself, Cardi B is now the first female rapper with three Hot 100 singles cracking into the No. 1 spot. Thanks to her standout verse on Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You,” Cardi B continues her miseducation of the Billboard charts.

In 2017, Cardi B became the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to top the charts with her song of every summer, “Bodak Yellow.” Cardi’s second entry into the charts, “I Like It,” was another song of the summer hit, and another chart-topping milestone.

Though Cardi B has dealt with her fair share of anxiety and stress over her career, it becomes more obvious by the day that “Bodak Yellow” was not a one-off success, and that her debut album Invasion of Privacy was the furthest thing from commercialized filler.

Cardi B is not to be counted out.
