J.I.D Is Doing a "Conceptual Project" with Producer No I.D.: "It's Crazy"

That’s a lot of punctuation.

J.I.D does not stop making moves. The East Atlanta playboy just released his well-received DiCaprio 2, his best work to date, and apparently, he is not slowing down.

In a new interview with Nadeska Alexis on Apple’s Music Beats 1 Radio, the Dreamville emcee revealed that he is in the throes of a “conceptual project” with the venerable producer No I.D.. That’s a lot of punctuation for what should be an incredible body of work.

“I'm doing this project with No I.D.,” he said. “It's cooked. It's crazy. It's like the conceptual project I was talking about. Everybody's cooked, it's amazing.”

JID, Duke Deuce & Erica Banks: Best of the Week

Best of the Week highlights the latest and greatest on Audiomack across genres and the globe.

This is not the first time J.I.D and No I.D.’s fabled collaboration has been mentioned. In September, J.I.D posted an Instagram Live where he said the album is already in progress. In September of 2017, again, J.I.D posted on Instagram that he was in the studio with Dion.

DiCaprio 2’s success and reception should have J.I.D and fans excited. The young rapper is at the top of his game, punching down the door to the upper echelon of hip-hop conversations. Though he is going to tour before releasing any new music, whatever he and No I.D. have been slow-cooking, we are sure it is worth the wait.
