We are in the wake of GoldLink season. Yes, that does mean an album is upon us.
This news comes from Saturday's Soulection Experience Los Angeles show, where Link closed out the sold-out festival at LA's Shrine in front of 5,000 people. This was his first show with the LA-based label since 2015, the same year he dropped And After That, We Didn't Talk.
During his headlining set, GoldLink ran through his entire catalog, brought out Pusha-T for a rambunctious performance of "Don't Like" and "If You Know, You Know," and performed his new single "Got Muscle" with WaveIQ and Peewee Longway. Link ended his set with an unreleased remix verse of Afro B's "Joanna," and also confirmed to fans in the room that the follow-up to 2017's At What Cost album will be coming in 2019.

We talk to the Surf Gang artist about microdosing alternative music in his raps.
To recap, GoldLink's album was one of our 10 most anticipated albums of 2018. Though it's coming a year later, you won't hear any complaints from us.
