J. Cole's single "Middle Child," released on January 23, is the fifth most-consumed song of 2019, as of May 10, according to HDD.
To date, "Middle Child," produced by T-Minus, has generated 142,000 sales and 312,151,000 streams, which combined equal 2,310,000 equivalent sales.
On April 12, "Middle Child" was certified 2x platinum by the RIAA. The song peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Songs by Ariana Grande ("7 Rings"), Post Malone ("Sunflower" and "WOW."), and Lil Nas X ("Old Town Road") make up the rest of the top five.
