Travis Scott has had a very eventful past 13 months. He released his third studio album ASTROWORLD—certified double-Platinum by the RIAA—in August 2018, toured the album for five months, founded his own music festival, designed two different sneakers, and recently became a father.

Pop anti-hero EKKSTACY finds his aggressive voice on his new album, 'misery.' He breaks down his journey through writer's block for Audiomack World.
“Yeah, I mean, shit, I’m in no rush frankly, but I’m taking my time to come up with the next album, but I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat.”
In 2019, there is more pressure than ever to keep pace when both the music industry and fan expectations. Travis, however, doesn’t need to run in the rat race. His loyal and massive fan base is patient. Remember, Travis waited 23 months to release ASTROWORLD following his sophomore LP Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
Even so, it looks like fans will not have to wait too long to eat. Travis Scott's new single, “Highest In The Room,” is releasing Friday, October 4.
