This whole music journalist thing can a pretty hard life. For example, sometimes Bacardi offers to fly you to an island in Puerto Rico to document their Bacardi Triangle music festival featuring performances from Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris. What can we say? Sometimes you just have to put your head down and do the hard work.
As you can see by the recap video above, the Bacardi Triangle proved to be a great time for our very own Jacques Morels and Erikson Corniel (behind the camera) as they ventured through the festival, catching Kendrick doing an awesome live version of "Money Trees," talking to Goulding about the story behind her cover of The Weeknd's "High For This" (see below) and just generally catching some good vibes.
Enjoy, hopefully next year we'll see you there. It's a hard job, but somebody's gotta do it.
