But for the first part of our sit down at the A3C Pro Audio conference, I had to take it all the way back and talk about Toomp’s beginnings on tour with 2 Live Crew. Yes, it was as crazy as you think it was. We’re talking onstage sex acts, paying off police, strippers and that one time Luke got in a fight with Rob Base. If you think the new generation can turn up, you haven’t heard this interview yet. Y’all ain’t got nothing on Toomp and 2 Live Crew back in the early ’90s.
