Beverly Hills, CA — It’s every man’s dream to set foot on the hallowed grounds of the
Playboy
Mansion, and now DJBooth can die happy. In partnership with
Entertainment Sports Management Group
(
ESMG
),
EA Sports
celebrated their new lineup of titles in style: by packing the
Playboy
estate with celebrities, athletes, rappers and, of course, beautiful women.
Headlining the night’s festivities were the heart and soul (and lungs) of Los Angeles hip-hop, the infamous
Cypress Hill
. DJBooth was granted exclusive access to the event and, after navigating through Hugh Hefner’s bunny-filled backyard, our very own
DJ Z
caught up with Cypress Hill frontmen
B-Real
and
Sen Dog
backstage to talk about their potentially explosive video game habits, their newfound independence from
Sony
and the release of their long-awaited new album, dropping this fall.
After the interview, Cypress Hill predictably laid waste to the crowd (performance footage coming next week)—a crowd that included the likes of
Twista
and
Xzibit
—by dropping a mix of tracks from the upcoming album and some of their classics; you haven’t seen a crowd go crazy until you’ve seen a crowd get down to
Insane in the Brain
).
After a full night of Cypress Hill’s smoky grooves, the latest in
EA Sports
‘ blockbusters, and
Playboy
’s legendary hospitality, everyone in attendance went home with more than a couple memories to last a lifetime…if they can remember it at all.
