We talk to the Surf Gang artist about microdosing alternative music in his raps.

15-year old Jibbs was discovered by his brother, Da Beastaz’ DJ Beats, a long time producer for St. Louis natives Nelly and Chingy when he began free-styling while joining his brother in the studio. Shortly thereafter he began opening up for artists such as Chris Brown, Bow Wow and Young Jeezy and quickly began getting offers from several major labels before signing with Geffen Records. In addition to Jibbs being a talented rapper, he is also a boxer having twice held the Golden Glove Championship.

Jibbs is currently in the midst of a 15 city tour of High Schools in the U.S., performing for the students and then fielding questions about his music and the music business.
