Calboy Is a Trendsetter

Chicago rapper Calboy fuses a classic style with a fun personality. His story, which he breaks down for Audiomack World, mirrors the PUMA story.

First off, this is about how I feel right now.

This is going on in my soul and a few other parts of my body I didn't even know existed.

But in all seriousness, what the fuck is happening right now? I'm all over the map right now, but basically El-P and Killer Mike dropped the album because they give absolutely zero fucks and are only here to fuck shit the fuck up.

I don't really have much to say besides...RUN THE JEWELS 2 IS HERE!!!!!

I didn't want to do a 1 listen review because, well, it's 3 AM. I am just not in the state of mind to give coherent thoughts on an album of this magnitude - I will say that "Crown" is an unbelievable song - but coming here and documenting the first moments in the RTJ2 society just seemed like the right thing to do. Obviously, we will update in the morning and get an official thing going, but I just wanted to let you all know the album is here and share this moment with you.

If you are reading this, you are probably really into rap too, so I can only assume you know just how I feel right now. Those first moments when you are settling down with that brand new album are unrivaled. Your heart starts to race. With an unparalleled level of focus, you hang on every note, bar, beat, trying to soak in as much as possible? Those goosebumps. That chill up your spine. That song that drew a barbaric yalp from the depths of your soul. I am going through all of that right now and its even sweeter because it is so unexpected. Bottom line, there is nothing in this world that moves us more than music, and this unexpected release of Run The Jewels 2 is a perfect example.

Now excuse me while I go listen...All hail Run The Jewels!
