Big Tymers – Still Fly (Action Jackson and Lemi Vice Remix)
Action Jackson
and
Lemi Vice
have been a dynamic duo for a minute now, and this throwback banger kicks off this month’s remix series. Usually known for their Jersey Club style, the two producers switch it up with straight bass music. Crank your speakers and bump this
Big Tymer’s
remix.
Pharrell – Frontin’ ft. Jay Z (Disclosure Remix)
Disclosure
is one of the fastest rising production groups in music right now, and the second they dropped their remix to
Pharrell
’s
Frontin’
, the internet went nuts. In this slightly sped up, nu disco remix, the UK outfit really flex their ability to take a more mellow classic and turn it into an upbeat jam.
Ginuwine – In Those Jeans (aywy. Remix)
DJBooth newcomer,

aywy.
, a native of Sydney, Australia, delivers an incredible dreamy sound that will either put you in the mood, or put you to sleep. Either way, this
Ginuwine
remix is genuinely the sh*t. (See what I did there?) Play this for your girl, or before nap time, just make sure that you play it.
Destiny’s Child – Bug-A-Boo (Hoodboi Remix)
Fresh off of his tour with
A-Trak
, DJ
Hoodboi
is killing the game right now. He recently announced his
Fool’s Good
endorsement and is on the fast track to production stardom. His remix of
Destiny’s Child
’s
Bug-A-Boo
is straight crack. I don’t know if it’s the high pitched Beyonce or the melodic 808’s, but I haven’t been able to stop bumping this joint since I first heard it. Keep an eye out for Hoodboi, as I’m sure this won’t be his last time his work is featured at The DJBooth.
Baby Bash – Suga Suga (Royal Refix)
The last featured remix of June comes from DMV native
Royal
. Honestly, this flip is as smooth as it gets. It’s like someone said, “Hey Royal, take one of the smoothest jams from the early '00’s and turn it into a love trap, chill wave banger.” Seriously, though, it’s a great remix to
Baby Bash
’s ’03 hit, and Royal deserves some kudos for giving the record extra longevity.
