2010 DJ Expo - Denon Booth
DJbooth.net was on-hand at the DJ Expo last week in Atlantic City, NJ to bring everyone a quick look at the exhibits and cool new product features at the Denon Pro DJ booth. Silvio was on-hand to show me the new products and also the all New Denon DN-S3700 hybrid mode not only working on SSL; but working perfectly with Traktor as well!
First up we have posted the below video featuring the three brand new Denon DJ Products as announced last week in an earlier post here (the new DN-X600 (2-channel mixer), DN-SC2000 (Single MIDI Controller), and the DN-MC6000 (4-Deck MIDI Controller)).
Next up we dive a bit deeper into the newly announced Denon DN-S3700 Hybrid mode which will allow users to transfer time-code information over DVS instead of through the use of Timecode CD's. This functionality will be available sometime in September for FREE DOWNLOAD! This way the user can use the DN-S3700 as a true MIDI controller for on-board computer file navigation and hotcues/loop assignments. This was announced last week and confirmed to be working with the Serato/SSL timecode solution, but we were on-hand at the DJ Expo and we were able to capture video of the DN-S3700 working perfectly with Traktor Scratch Pro/Duo as well!
