Mixars has finally released the new Primo two-channel Serato DJ controller after teasing the launch for over two years. The Mixars Primo arrives as a full-featured Serato DJ two-channel controller with a standalone mixer mode and Serato DVS capability.  

The durable build quality and the compact size of the Mixars Primo makes it perfect for professional DJ's who want a small footprint but all of the bells and whistles that come with a flagship style controller.

  • RCA inputs are Serato DJ DVS Compatible ($99 DVS upgrade kit needed)

Cons:

  • Crossfader has huge cut-in distance
  • Jog Wheels have more tension than desired

Chris Karns & DJ Nos Scratching @ Mixars 2017 NAMM Booth [Video]

We were on hand at the NAMM 2017 show this year and we brought you an exclusive look at both their new Quattro Serato DJ Mixer and the new PRIMO Serato DJ controller. While we were there we also ran into a few famous DJ's that were cutting it up on the recently reviewed Mixars DUO Serato DJ mixer and the STA turntables that were setup in the booth. Chris Karns & DJ Nos really both went in at the booth to test out the decks and that new Galileo crossfader that Mixars just posted to their youtube channel.
