Late last week, Native Instruments announced the third and final price-drop of its long-standing flagship 4-deck Digital DJ Controller called the Traktor Kontrol S4. I call this the third and final price-drop because NI has listed this offer to last from now until August 31st OR until stocks last. The writing has been on the wall for a fresh new round of all-in-one DJ controllers since the release of Traktor 2.5 and the remix deck functionality that the S2/S4 could never really take advantage of. The S4 is still a very capable DJ controller that also has a built in Traktor DJ Soundcard that allows DJ's to playback timecode vinyl or CD's with external turntables or CD decks. Take advantage of this sweet deal while you still can.

NI has finally finished off its inventory of S2 and S4 controllers to make way for the new Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 and the Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2 Digital DJ controllers which were just announced today! The new controllers boast improvements to the original designs by adding multi-color hotcue/remix deck pads, hi-res aluminum metal plate jog wheels, FLUX mode buttons, and Traktor DJ iOS compatibility.

Today, Native Instruments has announced their new controller called the Traktor Kontrol S5. This new controller takes the familiar body, shape, and mixing portions from the popular Traktor Kontrol S4 and removes the jog wheels in favor of screens, touch sensitive controls, and larger pads to work the new Stems file format with ease.

The Traktor Kontrol S2 Digital DJ controller is now near the end of it's product run as Native Instruments slashes the price before making space in their warehouses for the "future". Following the final pricedrop of the Traktor S4, the S2 is now also on sale for only $399. We reviewed the Traktor Kontrol S2 about two years ago and its still a VERY formidable controller for any DJ who needs a great compact controller for Traktor Pro.

Hot off the heels of this month's Traktor Kontrol Z2 discount offer from Native Instruments, the Traktor Kontrol Z1 portable mixer and interface has just been announced. The Traktor Kontrol Z1 is a compact two-channel mixer that works seamlessly with both the Traktor DJ App for portable and "on-the-go" mixing with the iPad, iPad mini, iPhone, or iPod Touch and the Traktor Pro/LE DJ software for desktop/laptop control.
