NAMM 2014: Audio Technica M-Series Headphones

Audio-Technica has just announced a new line of M-Series headphones that will add different price and performance tiers to their existing and widely popular ATH-M50x headphones. The ATH-M20x are the entry level headphones that have 40mm drivers and will cost $69. The ATH-M30x adds better and louder sound at $99. The ATH-M40x adds slightly better drivers, a fold-hinge construction, and a removable cable for $139. The top performing ATH-M50x adds bigger bass booming 45mm drivers for $239.

Audio-Technica 2000-Series Wireless UHF Microphone Unboxing Video

Audio-Technica has been supplying the Grammy Awards ceremony with excellent microphones for performances for the last fifteen years! If the performing professionals can put their trust in AT microphone quality, then so can DJ's! Audio-Technica has sent us a new 2000-Series Handheld Wireless UHF Microphone System along with a battery recharge station in order to put it through the tests and let other DJ's know how this setup works in real-world situations. Audio Technica has just released the ATH-M50W professional studio monitoring headphones which are the all-white version of AT's best ATH-M50 headphones. Users will get the same comfort and sound quality found on the originals along with a nice fresh color to boot. They have a fully collapsible and swivel design making them great for DJ's as well as producers and music makers. They are lightweight and have a very high power handling capability on the 45mm drivers. They will cost about $200 at retail and we'll let you know if they are worth it.

In a recent YouTube clip, Audio-Technica's Gary Boss (Marketing Director) performs an "unboxing" of Audio-Technica's System 10 wireless handheld system, going through the package component-by-component while explaining the setup and the technologies incorporated in the system's design.
