Everyone who has been DJing for the last 10 years or so knows at least one DJ from the legendary group the Beat Junkies. They are one of the most influencial DJ crews ever assembled with collaborations across a variety of different genres. This month marks the 20-year anniversary since the crew emerged from the Bay Area underground to give the world a new Definition of what the DJ is all about. LRG has just announced a new "For the Record" documentary film that will show the Beat Junkie's influence and progression in the DJ Culture. Here's something that DJ's and Producers of Hip-Hop will really enjoy. There is a new Hip-Hop interview and documentary film coming out on April 30th called "The Blackout 2013". In the full video you'll see Crooked I discuss a possible collab between Slaughterhouse and Black Hippy, Audible Doctor discussing the benefits of him being a producer and an MC, and much more. This documentary aims to separate itself from the others by giving you a look at current and throwback artists speaking on many different aspects that the average hip-hop fan wouldn't know.
