I'll be the first to admit that I was never really a fan of Behringer products. For most of my past 18-year DJ experience, I have come to learn that Behringer products were often priced well, but the quality also suffered from this pricing model. For the past few years, Behringer has been (successfully) trying to change their image as they have been starting to come out with some higher quality products with innovative features as well. Behringer has just announced its NOX mixer line that all come with VCA "contact-free" crossfaders, effects, and USB connectivity for track playback. Check inside for the press release and details.

For the past few years, Behringer has been (successfully) trying to change their image as they have been starting to come out with some higher quality products with innovative features as well. Behringer has just announced its NOX mixer line that all come with VCA "contact-free" crossfaders, effects, and USB connectivity for track playback. They will come in five different flavors ranging from 2-channels to 6-channels. The NOX404 (pictured) is the mixer that I am the most interested in. The NOX404 has a tension adjustable crossfader with curve control and reverse. It has on-board effects that can match the BPM and a nice 3-Band EQ. Check the specs below... [NAMM 2013] Behringer CMD Controllers Now Shipping

FINALLY! Behringer CMD Controllers Now Shipping

At last year's NAMM 2012 show, the Behringer CMD DJ controller lineup was announced and expected to ship sometime within the year. Fast forward to this year's NAMM 2013 show and the Behringer CMD controller line still has not shipped! About two weeks ago, our dream became a reality as the CMD controllers finally shipped to retailers at the end of June. The CMD controllers will all come bundled with the new Decadance 2 LE DJ software included inside the box and they are very affordable and modular to suit just about every DJ's needs. [Video] Traktor's Mixer Controller Announced

Ever wonder what would happen if Native Instruments started making true DJ Mixers? Well now you don't have to wonder for long because Native Instruments just posted the new teaser video that all but reveals the World's first Traktor 2+2 Channel Mixer and DJ controller. From the looks of it, the new Traktor Mixer-Controller will be able to accept CD and Vinyl Timecode decks without the need of a DVS soundcard. The mixer also looks to be made with a strong metal chassis and has controls for effects, hot-cues, loops, and everything else in between.
