Stems Beta Creation Tool [Video]

Native Instruments has just launched the new Stems file format that separates tracks into four parts so that new mixing of melodies, vocals, drums, and rhythm can be achieved. NI has now released the free Beta version of the Stem file format creator which will allow users to make their own Stem files of their productions.

Denon DS1 Serato DJ Unboxing [Video]

The new Denon DS1 is a Serato DJ Digital Vinyl Interface and soundcard that will allow DJ's to connect turntables and CD decks to an analog DJ mixer for full Serato DJ playback using noisemap (timecode) vinyl or CD's. The DS1 comes bundled with the full Serato DJ software and two timecode vinyl & CD's for only $300. This is great news for Serato DJ users as now there is another soundcard interface that can be purchased for less than the Rane SL offerings that tend to get really expensive really fast. NAMM 2014: Behringer NEKKST Studio Monitors [Video]

At this year's NAMM show, Behringer expands it's Nekkst studio monitor lineup to include a few new sizes and options for DJ's and producers on a budget. The Behringer Nekkst series monitors were created by the founder of the KRK monitors, Keith R. Klawitter, so you know they are really going to pack a punch and perform up to expectations. The Behringer Nekkst series is now available in K5 (5-inch), K6 (6-inch), K8 (8-inch), and K10 (10-inch subwoofer).
