Mixvibes just released a new version of their app for IOS with a redesign. It is also now a universal app, which will be explained down below. The app for Android and for IOS are pretty much an identical experience, which I think is a necessary feature for people that own devices on both platforms.
The Android version was released some time ago, there were nice improvements. Now those improvements have been re-engineered to the IOS app as well. The benefits of the re-engineering translates to better battery consumption and better audio quality.
Also, it seem like before you had to buy Cross DJ twice if you wanted to use it on your iPhone and iPad. With the update you only have to purchase it once for both devices, which is what they mean with Universal App.
The UI looks a lot cooler, something that will be much appreciated as Apple is all about sleek and beautiful design.
Other cool things that have finally been updated in IOS is the change of colors for each deck, the ability to switch the device orientation, certain notifications when certain features are active and smaller and easier buttons to tap.
On the Android side, Cross is now compatible with Android M. It is also plug and play with new MIDI controllers.
