Denon DJ Engine Management Software Update V1.1.0

The Denon DJ Engine Music Management Software gets a new update with some cool new features to make using the Denon SC2900 and SC3900 an even more enjoyable experience. With the new Engine V1.1.0 software update update for PC/Mac and iOS there is also a new Firmware update for the Denon SC2900/SC3900 players which will make the user experience more fluid and accurate. The Denon DJ Engine Music Management Software gets a new update with some cool new features to make using the Denon SC2900 and SC3900 an even more enjoyable experience. With the new Engine V1.1.0 software update update for PC/Mac and iOS there is also a new Firmware update for the Denon SC2900/SC3900 players which will make the user experience more fluid and accurate.

There's a new Hot List function that allows users to access their main tracks very quickly, a File Emphasis feature which tells the DJ if the track has been playing for longer than a minute and a quick eject button to disconnect the SC2900 and SC3900 from engine quickly and reliably. [Video] Denon SC2900 Unboxing & First Impressions

Last week, Denon DJ has announced the new update V.1.1.0 of their new Engine software which will make for a more enjoyable experience when using it in conjunction with the SC2900 and SC3900 Multi-Media players. Hot off the heels of the announcement, Denon has sent us a new Denon SC2900 for a full written and HD-Video review. The SC2900 is essentially the jog-wheel version of their SC3900 Multi-Media player which has an actively spinning platter with a true vinyl feel. The jog wheel has a multi-color LED ring around it to give the DJ key indicators during playback. The SC2900 has four on-board hot cue buttons, loop controls, separate start/stop adjustment knobs, Slip-Mode, and easy to use browsing controls. Serato DJ 1.7.6 Update: Denon DS1 [Videos]

Last night Serato DJ has released a new update to their flagship Software to provide additional compatibility for new products. This new Serato DJ 1.7.6 update specifically allows users to now purchase a new 24-bit Denon DS1 professional DJ soundcard for Serato Noisemap vinyl or CD control with external mixers and turntables or CD decks. The new Serato DJ 1.7.6 update also has a few other fixes for minor bugs within the software. Check out the quick videos that show the new Denon DS1 in action both with Vinyl and CD setups.

Denon DJ Officially Announces SC3900 Media Player (VIDEO UPDATE)

After teasing us with a few shaky promotional videos and news articles, Denon DJ has finally (and officially) announced the Denon SC3900 Multi-Media USB MIDI controller. This new controller boasts iPod, CD, and USB slots for playback and can be used as an all-out MIDI controller with it's buttons and sliders being fully mappable for a Computer DJ's needs. The 9-inch actively spinning platter makes the S3900 a top-choice for hip-hop and Scratch DJ's and timecode can be used without the use of CD's. Check out the press release inside for all the specs. Denon Hybrid Mode Free Firmware Update Released

A couple of months ago at the Atlantic City DJ Expo of 2010, I was able to show a video on djbooth.net of the Denon DN-S3700 working in Hybrid mode on Serato and Traktor. Now the Firmware update has been released and is free to download for all Denon DN-S3700 owners. This update will allow users to use the unit with Serato (or any other DVS) without the need of timecode CD's. More information inside.

Denon Releases Engine 1.5 Version Software

With Denon DJ coming out with the MCX8000, they are also getting in the game of controller with built in software. The first controller that came out with this feature was a lil controller from Stanton.Then Pioneer came out with a controller with Rekordbox built in, Now Denon DJ is doing the same with the release of the Engine 1.5 software.
