Last year, we reviewed the new Denon DJ DN-MC6000 All-in-one Digital DJ controller with four channels and four decks of control. The unit originally came with a version of Virtual DJ and we completed our full Video Review using Traktor Pro 2. Now, Denon DJ has announced that the ever-popular DN-MC6000 will now work in perfect harmony with the Mixvibes CROSS DJ Software. Denon DN-MC6000 Launch Party

The all-new 4-Deck Mixer and Midi Controller, the Denon DN-MC6000, recently had a full product Launch Party on December 1st at the SKY Ultra Lounge in Oak Brook, Illinois. There were many people on hand at the event which was open to the public. DJ Silvio and other Denon techies were on hand with the full Denon DJ product line to give demonstrations and showing everyone there exactly what the Denon DN-MC6000 can do.

Yesterday, Denon DJ Division announced their brand new flagship controller the MC6000MK2 which is an update to their original top-tier controller which adds Serato DJ compatibility,Slip Mode, new Jog Wheels, Loop Roll, and more. The MC6000MK2 is a high-powered four channel DJ controller and standalone mixer with all of the functionality of the original with compatibility with almost all MIDI-enabled DJ software including Serato, Traktor, VDJ, and Mixvibes Cross. The MC6000MK2 still keeps that same durable build quality and compact footprint that made the original a huge success. Turntablist Video Friday: Collabs09 on the DN-MC6000

With all of the Digital DJ Controllers on the market, I've noticed that we have reviewed most of the top brand units out there except one...The Denon DN-MC6000. I'm still waiting for my review unit from Denon, but in the meantime I decided to hit the net to see what this thing can do in the scratching category. I found a video on youtube posted by user collabs09 with a little scratch demo which looks pretty promising. Check out the video inside.

[Video] Mixvibes Cross 2.4 Update Released

Mixvibes has just released the new Cross 2.4 update for it's popular MAC/PC DJ software which now includes four decks of control along with a new sync mode to keep all of your tracks on-beat. These four decks can be fully controlled via Pioneer CDJ's and/or MIDI controllers (mappings available) while decks C & D can be switched to work as samplers. There are also new controller mappings for the Numark MixTrack, MixTrack2, MixTrackPro2, Denon SC-2900, and the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO.
