DJ Qbert's 250 Art Canvases

My personal favorite DJ is doing something different than the norm once again. To celebrate his 25 years of turntable supremacy, DJ Qbert (with the help of WAIL) has created 250 original works of art which will be sold on February 19th, 2011 in California. Each piece in the collection of 250 are massive in size and include photography, graphic art, found images, and acrylics. Each piece will be a true "one-of-a-kind" collectible. DJ Qbert Wins America's Best DJ 2010

DJ QBert has been voted America’s Best DJ for 2010! He was my one and only single vote and I am pumped that he got the win this year. After placing second in 2008 and 2009, Qbert finally beat out all other DJ's this year to claim top prize!

[TVF] OnDaSpin With DJ Diamond

Turntablist Video Friday makes another rare appearance today and this time we're back once again with the third Webisode in the "On Da Spin" series with DJ Diamond. During this online series, there will be feature interviews along with other footage from known and unknown DJ's. Each webisode will showcase the DJ and gives them a chance to give their opinion and insight on their musical experiences. This third webisode features DJ Diamond getting busy on the 1's & 2's and he also gives a sick interview about the whole DJ Game! Peep the video after the jump.

2013 Pioneer DJ Art Mix Charity Auction

A few short years ago, Pioneer allowed famous DJ's to use their CDJ decks as an art canvas to make some really cool pieces that were auctioned off for charity. Fast forward to today and Pioneer DJ has re-initiated it's efforts and this time the CDJ-2000NEXUS units have been nicely decorated and are currently being auctioned off at charitybuzz.com/pioneerdjartmix with all proceeds generated going to VH1 Save The Music Foundation, to restore music education programs in public schools.
