DJ Roc Raida, (Grandmaster Roc Raida) was a 1995 DMC World Champion DJ and was inducted into the DMC hall of fame in 1999. He is one of the early Turntablist pioneers of the game and the video inside will show exactly what he did to win the coveted DMC World title.

DJ Roc Raida, (Grandmaster Roc Raida) was a 1995 DMC World Champion DJ and was inducted into the DMC hall of fame in 1999. He was one of the early Turntablist pioneers of the game and the video below will show exactly what he did to win the coveted DMC World title. He was definitely a great showman when it came to lighting it up on the decks. Roc Raida also was a member of the Turntablist group The X-ecutioners. With the X-ecutioners, he released three albums and one solo album. He also produced records for Ill Al Skratch, Showbiz and A.G., the Jungle Brothers, Mad Skillz, Smif-n-Wessun and Big Pun. He was also Busta Rhymes personal DJ. Roc Raida sadly passed away on September 19, 2009 from cardiac arrest due to complications a few weeks earlier relating to a mixed-martial-arts accident. He will be missed by the entire DJ Community... Rest In Peace GrandMaster!!!

The former DMC World Champion of 2004 and 2005; DJ IE Merge rips it up at DJ Craze's studio. From 2002-2005, Merge won 35 DJ battles. Since 2002, Merge has won 9 national titles and 4 world titles, more titles in 3 years than any other DJ. He has won every prominent US title, and is known for his highly technical routines.

The winner of the 2013 Online DMC DJ Championships has been announced by the DMC judges. The performance which took top honors for the entire competition was by JON1ST from the UK who does some seriously crispy scratching and out-of-this-world juggling in one of the best performances I've seen to date.
