DMC World DJ Finals 2013

The DMC World DJ Finals for 2013 will be held on Saturday October 5th, 2013 at the indig02 Stadium in London. This iconic DJ battle championship is in its 27th year and along with the 100-DJ competition, there will be all day workshops and performances that will make the trip that much more worthwhile for DJ's who plan to attend. The DMC United States DJ Finals for 2013 will be held on Saturday August 3rd, 2013 at Stage 48 in NYC. Then, DJ's can check out the Grand Master Roc Raider Memorial Gong DJ Battle at the same venue the very next day on August 4th to make it a complete DJ competition weekend that DJ's in the area can't afford to miss.

The 2013 DMC US DJ Battle Finals took place on Saturday Aug. 3, 2013 at Stage 48 in New York City. The audience was treated to one of the best DJ battles of all time as all the contestants could easily have been in the top three. None of the judges could agree on the same top-three. The top-three contestants in the US Battle (1st DJ Esquire, 2nd DJ Sparechange, 3rd DJ Ease) will all go represent the US in the DMC World DJ Championships on October 5th in London.

The 2013 DMC World Championships were held on October 5th at the O2 Arena in the UK this year and it was another huge success. By all accounts the battles were really close this year but there can only be one winner in each category! France's DJ Fly (above) took the top prize in the World Final, Ritchie Ruftone took first place in the Battle for World Supremacy, and France's Mr Viktor, Deska & DJ Hertz won the World Team battle by only one point!

The winner of the 2013 Online DMC DJ Championships has been announced by the DMC judges. The performance which took top honors for the entire competition was by JON1ST from the UK who does some seriously crispy scratching and out-of-this-world juggling in one of the best performances I've seen to date. Watch this phenomenal set by as he rips it up on a set of Technics 1210's and a new Rane Sixty-Two Mixer and get ready to see him at the World DMC DJ Championships in a few short weeks.

The 2013 Online DMC Championships are starting to wind down with the top-three Round 6 finalists being announced by the DMC judges. The top three performances which took top honors this week were sets by DJ Topic, Ritchie Ruftone, and Erick Jay. There was a first place tie between DJ Topic and Ritchie Ruftone with Erick Jay coming in third. Check out these three incredible performances and check back in another couple weeks when the 2013 DMC Online Champion is crowned.
