To continue with this theme, Epsilon Pro decided to release a new starter DJ package for only $799 that includes two brand new Super-OEM turntables and a two-channel mixer with a built in Mini-Innofader crossfader for good cuts and mixing.

The Epsilon Pro INNO-PROPAK comes with two DJT-1300 high-quality/high-torque direct drive turntables which have some great extra features that DJ's have grown to love. The DJT-1300's have adjustable pitch range control of 10, 20, and 50 percent, along the same recognizable and dependable Super-OEM tonearm assembly.

The Epsilon Pro INNO-PROPAK also contains a INNO-MIX 2 compact two-channel mixer that has a Mini-Innofader crossfader for accurate and smooth scratching or transitions. The INNO-MIX 2 also features three-band EQ with full kill switches for instant kill for each band.

The INNO-PROPAK will be available in a Black version or a White version where both the turntables and mixer all sport the color-change. I can easily vouch for these claims as we've recently reviewed their Epsilon INNO-PROPAK turntable/mixer package and the Epsilon EPS 8.0 active studio monitors with great results. It looks like the masses are also in agreement as everyone was on hand at the NAMM 2015 Epsilon Booth to see their new offerings up close and personal.

Last month at the 2013 Atlantic City DJ Expo at the Trump Taj Mahal we were treated to DJ royalty at the Stanton, KRK, and Cerwin Vega booth (AKA Gibson Pro Audio) with both DJ Premier and Biz Markie showing everyone some turntable and mixing skills we won't soon forget. Epsilon has been bringing out new DJ & Lighting equipment at an extremely fast pace and we're happy to report that they've decided to send some new gear our way to see if it can hold up to the tests in the DJbooth. The latest product for review is the new Epsilon EPM 8.0 powered studio monitors. These affordable monitors have an internal amp, 8-inch woofers, three input types, and a rubbed MDF enclosure for good sound and durability. Akai has just announced that they are releasing two brand new modular/mini controllers for the Serato DJ software. The Akai AFX is a small controller that lets users manipulate multi-color RGB performance pads, effects, hotcues, slicer, loops, navigation, and the new Serato Flip expasion while the Akai AMX is a mixer-like device that controls the EQ, filters, headphones, two volume linefaders, a mini-innofader crossfader and DVS Capable RCA inputs and outputs.

Our good friend DJ Just Dizle from France has just released a cool West Coast Megamix video which features this globe-trotting DJ mixing 125 songs on the one's and two's filled with West Coast Hip-Hop classics and new joints. There's tracks from Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, The Game, Snoop, Tyler the Creator, and so much more.
