Gemini CNTRL-7 USB DJ Controller First Impressions Video

The Gemini CNTRL-7 Digital DJ Controller has just been announced and we at djbooth.net already got our hands on the review unit. This unit boasts a crossfader curve control, effects, Full-Kill Three-Band EQ, Four outputs (including an XLR Balanced output) and two line/phono channel RCA inputs. The controller comes bundled with Virtual DJ, but it is a fully MIDI capable controller that can be mapped to any popular DJ software on the market today. We've been patiently waiting about a year now for Gemini to unveil it's newest CDJ unit for the masses. Wait no more as the Gemini CDJ-700 Multi-media player is now available on store shelves for all to own and use. On the heels of this announcement, Gemini decided to lend us a brand new review unit to put it through its paces. The full HD-Video review is coming shortly, but check out the unboxing and first impressions video in the meantime to see a quick product rundown.

Our good friends over at SonicElectronix.com sent us a Brand new Pioneer DDJ-ERGO Digital DJ controller for a full HD-Video review that we will drop shortly. Right now we have the unit in the lab and we are putting it through all of our tests so we can give you (the reader/watchter) a full rundown review video so you can make an informed decision regarding your DJ controller purchase. While we were over at the Gemini Booth at the 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo we were treated to the CDJ-650 rundown video and we were also given a full rundown video of the new CDMP-7000. The Gemini DJ CDMP-7000 can work as a MIDI controller, a stand alone mixer, or independent CDJ-700's with their own dedicated Line level outputs. The Mixer can be used on its own and so can the decks. Basically what we have here is a full 3-channel mixer with two CDJ-700's mashed together into one unit. Check the rundown video after the jump.

Reloop has been bringing some nice quality DJ gear out of their hats for the past few years on the DJ scene. Their gear has gotten better and better with each hardware iteration and this time we expect no different from the new Terminal Mix series of Reloop DJ controllers that are being introduced to the United states on June 15th via the US distributor Mixware.net... My good friend's over at Mixware.net sent us an early Terminal Mix 4 Digital DJ controller review unit so we can give you the full-in-depth-HD-Video reviews that you are all so used to. It will be released the same day as the controller is released in the US but you can check out the teaser unboxing and first impressions video for now to see a quick rundown provided by yours truly.

The Pioneer DDJ-SR is essentially a trimmed down two-deck version of the DDJ-SX which controls four decks of Serato DJ. The new DDJ-SR has a smaller footprint than the DDJ-SX and adds a new PAD PLUS button that gives the 16-performance pads even more functions than before. Even though only two channels are present, the controller is layered so four decks of software control is still possible. The full video and written reviews are on the way, but peep our unboxing video to see the DDJ-SR fresh out of the box.
