American Audio has just announced the ETR-1000 Professional DJ Headphones will be available in late May 2013 and were designed by DJ Champion ETRONIK. These new headphones have 40mm drivers, real leather padding, and the swivel/rotate design for many different DJ monitoring styles. They come bundled with a flat cable (that doesn't tangle), a headphone bag, and a 1/4-inch adapter to round out the package. We'll be sure to get a set in the lab for a full HD-Video and written review, but check out the quick rundown video with DJ ETRONIK inside.

I-MEGO is a relatively new company on the scene that specializes in producing premium designed headphones of all shapes and sizes to suit all types of listening needs. The new I-MEGO Throne professional over-the-ear style headphones have now made their way into the DJbooth Lab for a full out "DJ-Tested" review. We'll put them through the paces and let you know if they are good enough to DJ with and to withstand the tests and demands of those Mobile DJ conditions. Gemini DJ Division was at this year's Atlantic City DJ Expo to show us their new CDJ lineup and their CDMP all-in-one DJ units. The new CDJ-650 was on prominent display as well as the new CDMP-7000 digital DJ controller and standalone multi-media mixing console. Master & Dynamic is a relatively new professional audio company that produces some high quality audio products for high end users. The Mastser & Dynamic MH40 over-the-ear headphones sport 45mm drivers, real leather and metal construction, and some great accessories that would fit the bill for a DJ or producer's performance and lifestyle needs. We're working on the full video review, but we've finished the unboxing video to show you all that comes in the package.

A brand new company called LyxPro has just released a cool set of headphones that are advertised as being great for DJ's and Sound professionals alike. The LyxPro HAS-20 headphones have large 50mm over-the-ear drivers, good passive isolation, and a folding/swivel design for easy transport and one-ear monitoring. We have a set of LyxPro HAS-20 headphones in the lab for the review treatment, but check out the unboxing video to see my first impressions.

The new Urbanears headphone colors for the Fall and Winter 2012 season are now available for purchase everywhere Urbanears headphones are sold. The Urbanears line of headphones includes the Plattan (lightweight on the ear headphones), the Medis (), and the recently reviewed Zinken (Professional DJ Grade headphones). Each of these headphones come in more than ten different colors, and now we can add the new three fall colors to the list; Rust, Pumpkin, and Forest. Sennheiser is known for its high-performance headphones for professional broadcasting and DJ's alike. Sennheiser has just released a new consumer oriented headphone called the Momentum On-Ear. The Momentum On-Ear headphones sport a minimalistic design that is all business with a solid metal construction and top-tier materials used throughout. Even the stitching is impressive. We'll put them through the paces to see if they can hold up in the DJ environment, but check out the unboxing video to get our first impressions and to see all that comes in the box.

A couple of months ago, we reviewed the new Beats By Dr. Dre Mixr Professional DJ headphones and we were impressed with the build quality, the sound signature, and all the other features that worked well for DJ use inside the DJ booth. Our good friend ProfessorBX over at the Beats office felt it was only right that we also take a look at the top-of-the-line Beats Pro headphones to put them through the same tests. The Beats Pro headphones have a completely solid steel/aluminum construction, an over-the-ear design for good isolation, and a folding-swivel construction for one-ear monitoring and storage.
