Hercules Partners with Scratch DJ Academy

Hercules, the DJ controller manufacturer has announced a partnership with DJ Scratch Academy. This is an interesting development. The school will use the new Hercules JogVision DJ controllers which work with Serato DJ and have really responsive Jog Wheels that also have LED rings in the center which show DJ's the current track needle position and other useful information.

Hercules DJ Control Air Announced

Hercules has done it again! They have just recently announced the newest addition to their Digital DJ Controller lineup called the Hercules DJ Control Air which allows the DJ to use their hands in "mid-air" to control different playback parameters such as effects. This very compact USB DJ controller gives DJ's Air control via a small sensor at the top center of the face of the controller and a total of eight touch-pads to trigger different cue points and loops. NAMM 2012 Video: Hercules Air

Earlier this year we brought you a story about the newest DJ controller from Hercules called Air. Now the Hercules Air all-in-one DJ controller has finally showed it's face at the NAMM 2012 show in California. This new controller that uses thin air to create and trigger cue points and loops is definitely something different and innovative that some DJ's may have lots of fun with. We reviewed the Hercules RMX 2 Digital DJ Controller over two years ago, but this new video by DJ Timm United lets everyone know that this compact and powerful controller can still rock the stage quite well. The Hercules RMX 2 has a solid metal chassis, velocity sensitive pads, and a true standalone mixer mode that can be used with external timecode turntables or CD decks for DVS playback. [Video] Hercules DJ Control Air+ Unboxing & First Impressions

Some time ago, we reviewed the Hercules RMX-2 and the 4-MX DJ controllers which were both made of metal and had lots of professional features for all levels of DJ's. This week, we received the newest Hercules DJ controller called the Control Air+ (Plus) which is an update to the first Control Air which is the first DJ controller to integrate an IR sensor to control effect parameters. The Control Air+ has an updated layout and more features than the original.
