Loopport.com: New Free Source for Loops/Sounds/Samples

The new Company Loopport.com is the new source for DJ's and Producers to get plenty of Loops, Sounds, and Samples of many different genres in order to create and manipulate music just the way they wish. All of the royalty-free content is downloaded in Bitpacks which allow users to select individual sounds to compile a list of only the parts you need instead of downloading an entire library of content that won't be used. NI Teases New KOMPLETE Keyboard Controller [Video]

Native Instruments has just released a quick teaser video for what looks to be like a new Keyboard controller for music makers to control all the cool sounds in the KOMPLETE production library. In the teaser video, you can clearly see LED screens that show current selections and some distinct black and white keys for users to play with. I'm sure we'll know more about this new Keyboard controller soon enough, but check out the teaser video and let us know what you think it is!

Korg Monomania Sound Contest

The world-renown keyboard and sound production equipment manufacturers Korg has announced a Monomania sound contest which gives Monotron users a chanct to compete for prizes by submitting a video or audio clip of themselves making sounds with their Korg Monotron or Monotribe production stations. Ten winners from the US will be selected, but hurry up and ACT NOW since this contest will be over by January 1st 2012. [Video] NI Releases New Maschine & Maschine Mikro

Native Instruments has just announced the new generation of the Maschine that is set to hit store shelves on October 1st. The Maschine MK2 and Maschine Mikro MK2 will now both be available in a black version and a white version. The new Maschine & Mikro versions will also get new pad upgrades which have increased pad sensitivity and multi-colored backlit for better visual feedback. The new Mashine MK2 setups will also get redesigned displays and a new software version 1.8 that is available for free download to current Maschine users as well.
