M-Audio has released a new line of powered monitor speakers that boast great looks, great sound, and great affordability. The new M-Audio BX Carbon series monitors come with bi-amplified internal power, separate XLR and quarter-inch inputs, woven kevlar woofers, and silk dome tweeters to match. These monitors are offered in three different woofer sizes which include the BX5 Carbon (5-inch), the BX6 Carbon (6-inch), and the BX8 Carbon (8-inch).

The BX Carbon price is comparable to other monitors in the same performance arena and the styling is pretty unique and interesting. The BX Carbon monitors are available now from your local retailer while the BX5 Carbon comes in at $149 each, the BX6 Carbon comes in at $199 each, and the BX8 Carbon comes in at $249 each. Akai Announces RPM500 and RPM800 Monitors

NAMM 2011 - Mackie Loudspeakers and Studio Monitors

One of my final posts from the excellent NAMM 2011 show is from a well-known audio maker who is legendary when it comes to production gear and audio quality. NAMM 2014: Behringer NEKKST Studio Monitors [Video]

At this year's NAMM show, Behringer expands it's Nekkst studio monitor lineup to include a few new sizes and options for DJ's and producers on a budget. The Behringer Nekkst series monitors were created by the founder of the KRK monitors, Keith R. Klawitter, so you know they are really going to pack a punch and perform up to expectations. The Behringer Nekkst series is now available in K5 (5-inch), K6 (6-inch), K8 (8-inch), and K10 (10-inch subwoofer).

Mackie CR4 & CR3 Affordable Monitor Speakers [Video]

Mackie has been really busy lately bringing out new Thump Powered Speakers that pump out over 1000 watts each and now they are adding new affordable powered monitor speakers to their new range called the CR3 and CR4. The New Creative Reference line of Powered Monitors come with three-inch woofer (CR3) or four-inch woofer (CR4) versions and also house silk dome tweeters for great high and mid range accurate sound reproduction.

M-Audio CODE Keyboards [Video]

M-Audio has just released its' intuitive new series of keyboards called the CODE. The CODE Series is a USB Midi Controller, which is available in 25, 49 and 61 keys. What makes the product so unique is that its' the first keyboard of its' kind to feature a built-in X/Y pad. The X/Y pad allows user control of effects and virtual instruments through the touch pad.
