Now this is really big news right here… Rane (after releasing the SL-3 just last year) has decided to get into the four-deck market with its newest DJ interface, the Rane SL 4. Basically users will now be allowed to connect up to four decks and two different computers to the same setup. The SL 4 sports two separate USB inputs (for two separate computer control and other possibilities) and four inputs for your Line or Phono needs. I’m not sure how many analog timecode DJ’s out there really need four decks of control, but it sure is cool to have the option of using a different computer/software to control the setup in real-time. This feature makes it PERFECT for club owners or for venues that have multiple DJ’s coming in to perform back to back. With Rane’s super-high-quality background, you know the sound quality will be right on-point and so will the construction. Stay tuned as the SL 4 is slated for an April 2011 release and you know DJbooth.net will deliver new information as soon as it develops… Can you say review unit???
