NAMM 2012: Mixware Products

NAMM 2012 Video: Numark Akai MPC-DJ

Earlier in the week we brought you the story on a new prototype that found its way to the NAMM 2012 showroom floor. Today we have a full video rundown on this awesome prototype controller that fuses the worlds of the DJ with the production gurus. The MPC-DJ is basically a set of Numark V7's fused with a MIDI mixer with the world-famous 16 Akai MPC velocity pads that can be used for triggering samples, loops, sounds, cue points, or whatever else a DJ may have in store. NAMM 2014: Reloop Terminal Mix 8 [Video]

Reloop has just announced their new four-deck flagship controller called the Terminal Mix 8 at this year's NAMM show. The Terminal Mix 8 looks to have much of the same DNA as the successful Terminal Mix 4, while adding 16 Multi-color back-lit Velocity Sensitive Performance Pads for functions within Serato DJ such as hot cues, loops, samples, and slicer. The pads can also be divided into two parts so the user can use the top row of pads for one function such as loops while the bottom row of pads can control another function such as hot cues.

NAMM 2012: Stanton SCS.3 With Virtual DJ LE

For this year's NAMM, Stanton has just announced that their popular touch-format digital DJ Media Controller, the Stanton SCS.3 will now ship and work perfectly with the Virtual DJ LE platform. Going forward, anyone who purchases a new SCS.3 will find that it is bundled with Virtual DJ LE from the start. Current Stanton SCS.3 users now have the option of downloading a version of Virtual DJ LE and everyone will also be able to upgrade to the Pro edition for a special low price. Details inside.

NAMM 2012: Numark 4TRAK Announced

Numark has just announced their newest four-channel/four-deck Digital DJ Controller that will be running in perfect harmony with the Native Instruments powerful Traktor 2 DJ software. This marks the first time that Numark is making a Traktor dedicated controller as the Numark NS6, NS7, and V7 were created to work with Serato Itch. Most DJ's know that the Traktor software is more in-depth than Serato, and it is more capable of those fine controls and tweaks that DJ's will want. So it only makes sense for Numark to finally create a serious Traktor controller to contend with the rest. (Press release and Price inside).
