Numark has just announced their newest four-channel/four-deck Digital DJ Controller that will be running in perfect harmony with the Native Instruments powerful Traktor 2 DJ software. This marks the first time that Numark is making a Traktor dedicated controller as the Numark NS6, NS7, and V7 were created to work with Serato Itch. Most DJ’s know that the Traktor software is more in-depth than Serato, and it is more capable of those fine controls and tweaks that DJ’s will want. So it only makes sense for Numark to finally create a serious Traktor controller to contend with the rest. The Numark 4Trak will display the same excellent metal construction, jog wheels and overall build of the Numark NS6, along with a 12-knob FX Kommand Console for Traktor Effects and filters. The unit basically looks like a Numark NS6 that has been repainted with an FX strip at the top to control Traktor 2’s effects and filters. The strip-search function makes it’s way back to the Numark 4Trak along with the cue buttons, loop section, and even Sample deck buttons for full Traktor control. Like the Numark NS6, the Numark 4Trak will also function as a standalone mixing console without the computer with full line inputs to plug in other deck-types. The expected street price of the Numark 4Trak will be $1099 and it will be released by the end of March. We’ll definitely get our hands on one of these as soon as they are released for reviews! Check out the full press release below for more information. Stay tuned for more!
