[NAMM 2013] Reloop Tape Recorder

NAMM 2015: Reloop RP-8000 Straight Turntable

As we reported in an earlier NAMM 2015 story, the Reloop team has decided to release their flagship RP-8000 turntables in a straight tonearm edition to appease many scratch DJ's who are more comfortable with the straight arm skip resistance. The new RP-8000 Straight turntables will have all the same features and functions of the original RP-8000 Hybrid Turntables we reviewed last year with a new tonearm option for those who want it.

[NAMM 2013] Stanton Booth Performances

Stanton DJ (who is now a division of Gibson Pro Audio) will be on-hand at the NAMM 2013 show this week and DJ Young 1 will be performing in the Stanton Booth (Room # 303AB - Level 3) on Saturday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m. DJ Young 1 is only ten years old, but he's already got skills for days. He'll be performing on Stanton's SCS.4DJ Digital Mixstation which we reviewed about two years ago with good results. NAMM 2015: Reloop RP-8000 Straight & RMX-60 Digital [Video]

Reloop has just dropped a BOMB for vinyl DJ's by announcing its new Reloop RP-8000 Straight turntable with a straight tonearm that is great for scratching. Reloop has also announced a new RMX-60 Digital mixer for NAMM 2015. These two products were announced by a quick surprise video from Reloop with turntablist DJ Fong Fong going to work on the new RP-8000 Straight turntables and the RMX-60 Digital four-channel mixer. Reloop Releases Beatmix 4 Tutorial [Video]

The new Reloop Beatmix 4 is an entry-level four deck digital DJ controller that comes bundled with Serato DJ. This new controller is mainly entry level in price while providing the full Serato DJ software experience (for a limited time), full RGB backlit performance pads, and aluminum-top jog wheels with an LED light ring for needle position monitoring. Reloop has just released a new four-part Tutorial Video Series to explain the main features of the Beatmix 4.

Reloop RMX-22i & RMX-33i Mixers [Video]

Reloop has just announced two new DJ Mixers that show a lot of promise and versatility in their makeup and functionality. The new Reloop RMX-22i and RMX-33i are two-channel and three-channel mixers respectively, and they are both packed with great features such as Four Sound Color Effects and the new split inputs and supplied splitter cable that allows smartphone and tablet DJ's to easily connect and control the mix.

Reloop & Ortofon DJ Cartridges Announced

The Reloop DJ Brand continues the vinyl-turntable based announcements at the BPM 2013 show with the new Reloop-Ortofon DJ cartridge venture. Reloop will work with the legendary Ortofon Phono Cartridge company to produce a new line of DJ cartridges for vinyl turntable users. These new Reloop branded Ortofon Concorde Cartridges come in Black (entry-level), Green (digital timecode vinyl), and Blue (all around performers), with two OM variations also available to accommodate all users.
