NAMM 2015: Audio-Technica ATH-M70x Headphones

In a surprise move, Audio-Technica has unveiled their newest flagship model DJ/Production headphones that are even a notch above their iconic ATH-M50x Headphones that we reviewed last year. The Audio-Technica ATH-M70x headphones have proprietary 45mm (over-the-ear) drivers that are capable of delivering a wide range of sound, metal reinforcement in the construction, and the ability to swivel the earcups 90-degrees for one-ear monitoring situations.

In a surprise move, Audio-Technica has unveiled their newest flagship model DJ/Production headphones that are even a notch above their iconic ATH-M50x Headphones that we reviewed last year. The Audio-Technica ATH-M70x headphones have proprietary 45mm (over-the-ear) drivers that are capable of delivering a wide range of sound, metal reinforcement in the construction, and the ability to swivel the earcups 90-degrees for one-ear monitoring situations.

The ATH-M70x come bundled with a real protective case and three different interchangeable cables (one coiled, one straight long, and one straight short). The ATH-M70x headphones will be available for purchase this month for around $400. We'll be sure to get a set in the lab for the video review treatment where we'll compare them to the ATH-M50x headphones that we're currently using for monitoring and editing. Audio Technica ATH-M50WH Headphones Now Shipping

The Audio Technica ATH-M50WH headphones that were recently announced at NAMM 2012 are now available at Pro Audio equipment resellers worldwide. Users will get the same comfort and sound quality found on the original all black ATH-M50's along with a nice fresh color. They have a fully collapsible and swivel design making them great for DJ's as well as producers and music makers. They are lightweight and have a very high power handling capability with the 45mm drivers. They are available for $200, so check them out if you are in the market for a new set. NAMM 2014: Audio Technica M-Series Headphones

Audio-Technica has just announced a new line of M-Series headphones that will add different price and performance tiers to their existing and widely popular ATH-M50x headphones. The ATH-M20x are the entry level headphones that have 40mm drivers and will cost $69. The ATH-M30x adds better and louder sound at $99. The ATH-M40x adds slightly better drivers, a fold-hinge construction, and a removable cable for $139. The top performing ATH-M50x adds bigger bass booming 45mm drivers for $239.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional headphones have been in used in professional setups for performers and sound engineers around the world. They are known for comfort, durability, and good overall sound quality. Audio-Technica has recently released the updated ATH-M50X headphones which don't stray far from the tried and true aesthetics and sound properties, but adds slightly better materials and three removable cables for even more versatility.

Audio-Technica Now Shipping ATH-M50xDG

Audio-Technica is now shipping the ATH-M50xDG Professional Monitor Headphones which is a limited-edition dark green version of their popular ATH-M50x Headphones that we recently reviewed late last year. The new ATH-M50xDG headphones have the exact same features and functions as the black version and it fits in nicely with the new remastered M-Series line of headphones.

Audio-Technica releases ATH-M50RD Limited-Edition Red Headphones

DJ and Producers alike have used the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones with great success. Everyone seems to like the lightweight design and rugged durability paired with a great sound that accurately reproduces the source material. The ATH-M50's are currently sold in Black or white color schemes and now AT has released the new ATH-M50RD as a limited Red edition. NAMM 2015: Denon HP2000 Headphones

Denon DJ is at this year's NAMM 2015 show in a big way. Their second release of the day is the new Denon HP2000 Professional Over-The-Ear DJ headphones.
